In March 2020, Konnech celebrated 18 years of leadership in supporting the efficient management of elections.
A trusted global leader, Konnech’s tailored module of election management systems has made it easier for members of the public to access critical election information, strengthening democracies and increasing voter engagement.
Konnech Australia’s Director, Greg Denton, said he looked forward to expanding the company’s offering across the country.
“Since our launch in Australia, we have been delighted to partner with the Electoral Commission of Queensland to improve their election management systems and increase voter participation,” Mr Denton said.
“We look forward to partnering with other electoral authorities across the country to simplify their election processes and make it easier for Australians to have their say on polling day.”
Konnech Australia is continuing its work with the Electoral Commission of Queensland ahead of the next state election.
In a joint partnership with the ECQ, Konnech Australia has been working to replace the state’s 12-year-old strategic election management system to ensure the efficient planning, delivery and reporting of electoral events.
Konnech Australia Director Greg Denton said the ECQ’s previous system has grown increasingly complex and costly to run and the new system would ensure the smooth running of upcoming elections.
“Our Brisbane-based team has been working very closely with the ECQ to design, deliver and implement a new election management system that makes it easier for election events to be run,” Mr Denton said.
“We’re confident our new system will ensure the 2020 State Election will deliver world-class election event for Queensland and set the benchmark for Australian election management.”
Australia’s leading provider of Election Management Systems is inviting applications from soon-to-be graduates and current students interested in graduate opportunities who are completing a degree in information technology or software developing during 2020.
